About Speaker

Veit Zöppig, born in 1970, studied microsystem technology at TU Ilmenau. After receiving a PhD in micromechatronics in 1998, he was active in mechatronics research and technology transfer and gained expertise in the field of automotive auxiliary units, highly-integrated motor control ICs and mechatronics design methodology. In 2010, he co-founded driveXpert, an RnD service provider specialized in that field and working for many automotive OEMs, Tier1 and Tier2 companies. In 2020, he joined MOTEON GmbH Ilmenau as CTO, a new company aimed to provide automotive motor control software and system solutions based on Infineon semiconductors.
