About Speaker

Andrea Bastoni earned his Ph.D. in computer engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2011. Since 2007, he has worked in the industry as a Software Engineer and Architect, leading the technical safety certification of the SYSGO PikeOS microkernel. With over 15 years of experience in real-time operating systems for safety-critical certified products in avionics, railway, and automotive sectors, he co-founded Minerva Systems in 2021, focusing on performance and predictability for multicore systems. He also serves as a Research Fellow at the Technical University of Munich.
